Automotive Technician

Based in Invercargill or Queenstown, Full-time, Permanent

Macaulay Motors are seeking a qualified/experienced Automotive Technician for our Invercargill or Queenstown branch to join our busy team.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs

·         Fault-finding and diagnostics

·         A proactive approach to health and safety

·         Providing the best service to customers by going the extra mile.

Skills that would be an advantage:

·         Relevant automotive qualifications, or have the desire to work towards.

·         A WOF / AVI certificate is preferred but not compulsory

·         Solid technical skills & diagnostic abilities

·         A ‘fix it right first time’ mindset

·         High level of initiative

·         Clear communication skills

·         Ability to work well in a team environment

·         A high level of attention to detail

·         Previous franchise experience is an advantage
