Based in Invercargill or Queenstown, Full-time, Permanent

Macaulay Motors are seeking a qualified/experienced Automotive Technician for our Invercargill or Queenstown branch to join our busy team.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs
• Fault-finding and diagnostics
• A proactive approach to health and safety
• Providing the best service to customers by going the extra mile.

Skills that would be an advantage:

• Relevant automotive qualifications, or have the desire to work towards.
• A WOF / AVI certificate is preferred but not compulsory
• Solid technical skills & diagnostic abilities
• A ‘fix it right first time’ mindset
• High level of initiative
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• A high level of attention to detail
• Previous franchise experience is an advantage
